Health Wars!

So one of my crazy friends has come up with one of her crazy ideas once again. Her idea was to try and get healthier. But not using the regular old-fashioned diet. No its having her friends go up against each other for an awsome prize. Each team has to come up with their own health regimen. You have journal evrey day with what you ate, (not counting calories or specifics i.e. a turkey sandwhich with a slice of american cheese, a table spoon of mayo, on wheat bread at 300 calories, but just a turkey sandwhich.) and how you feel that day which is where the blog comes in. We also have to have an exercise regimen because at the end we are judged on how we improve in basic exercises. At the end of two months we are going to be judged using a point system. And of course the team with the most points wins! So let me declare the health war on!

as one can tell i have not published lately. But so far i survived nhd (my living nightmare.)had straight a's on my report card (again) and generally did my nerd thing. i have discovered my latest obsession mickey d's sweet tea it is the best thing ever! k later all marie =)

Yesterday i was with my dad in the car and i lookout the window and see a coach bus and im like wtf? We dont have anything exxicting here maybe a big poluted river but thats abiut it. Anywayys random thought. I gotta read about 200 pgs. of To Kill a Mockingbird by tom.

2nd Book Review: The Lovely Bones

Genre: Fiction
Rating: 3 out of five stars
Review: The book starts out with the death of Salmon like the fish, first name susie. ( You'll get it if you read the book.) Anyway the family's grief in the years to come. susie's death affects an entire community. Which was once a happy area the community is struck by the tragedy that makes someone not trusted. i think the book goes waaaaaay tooooooo sloooow. The police are way to relaxed aboutn the murder. The murderer is completly crepy. Sorry Alice this is a one time read.

1st book review: The Luxe

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
Review: The Luxe is all about wealthy upper class life in Manhattan 1899. The openning begins with the death of Elizabeth, a kind, proper, all around good girl. Through twists and turns you'll never get bored and won't put it down. (I didn't finishing it in less than 24 hours. My opinion is that the surprising ending is ruined a bit by stating in the beginning with Elizabeth's death. The book is all about what leads up to the devastating tragedy. I loved that the author weaved actual information into the plot, it made the characters seem so much more real. Overall its a good book but there are so many people out to get Elizabeth its not even funny, like the maid, her best friend, her fiance. I'd recomend it to anyone who needs an interseting plot.

So earlier today my dad's best friend asked me the age old question what do you want to be when you grow up? so I of course replied i dont know. A few ideas later he had the best idea ever. To be an Editor!!!!! So i of course i said it was perfect. i mean getting paid to read books and theres a lot of moola.(If your reading this and you havent figured it out yet i am what you would call a nerd. I call myself a dork just to set the record straight.) Somewhere in there my dad had the bright idea for me to start a blog.( i know a dad saying to blog how werid.) So here i am. give me ideas to blog about.
